I am excited to announce my candidacy for Branch II Circuit Court Judge for St. Croix County. If I am elected as Circuit Court Judge, I pledge to approach every case with an open mind, to apply the law impartially, and to ensure that all individuals who come before the court are treated with dignity and respect. I have lived in St. Croix County most of my life and I believe that the role of a judge is not only to interpret the law fairly, but also to make decisions that support the long-term safety of our community.

Throughout my career, I have applied that same philosophy to my practice and have dedicated myself to public service. I have worked in county government for 22 years starting out as a full-time Legal Assistant while attending law school on the weekends. After graduating, I became an Assistant Corporation Counsel, and I am currently the Corporation Counsel for St. Croix County. Working in the Corporation Counsel Office has allowed me to gain a wide variety of experience in various areas of the law, including family law, guardianships, involuntary commitments, child abuse and neglect, zoning, contract law, and others. I have represented the county’s interest in Circuit Court, administrative proceedings, and appeals. I have also worked with all county departments, and with local and state entities, throughout my employment. This array of experience would prove invaluable in addressing the full caseload of a Circuit Court Judge in St. Croix County.
